Knowing that stock just isn’t acceptable with most Audi enthusiasts Billy Boat Performance Exhaust developed a system for the B8 A4 2.0TAvant. Precision crafted from 100% T304 mandrel bent tubing the system starts right behind the cat section with a 3” down pipe. For easy installation The B&B system follows the factory routing and uses the OE hangers. Exiting the center muffler the system splits into two 2.25” pipes that lead to a pair of rear mufflers that incorporate B&B’s proprietary Purge Resonance Technology (PRT) which is the latest in resonance control technology. The straight through design mufflers emit a deep sporty note on hard acceleration while the purge chambers collect and cancel the unwanted resonance at cruising speeds giving the car a nice mild touring tone. Another benefit of the straight through PRT design mufflers and mandrel bent tubing is an increase in both horsepower and torque. Finally B&B uses a 4.25” round double wall tips that give the Avant a distinguishing look. As with all B&B systems the Avant components are backed by a limited LIFETIME warranty.
